The rock of Cashel

Perched dramatically on a limestone outcrop, the large cathedral and ancient round tower have witnessed many important occasions in Irish history. Brian Boru was crowned king of Ireland here in early 11th century.Saint patrick converted King Aenghus on this spot in 5th century.
Attractions include audio/visual presentations and exhibitions.
Opening times from June to September 9am. to 7.30pm.
Rest of the year 9.30am to 4.30pm.
